Ahmed Al Marzouqi

I fell in love with rays of light early in my childhood . My love of photography began while on picnics and travels with my family.
I started with a standard camera but soon set my heart on a single lens reflex.

In 1988 I was able to afford a Yashika SLR. Unfortunately, there were no camera clubs and you could seldom find anybody interested in photography. For this reason, I lost interest in still photography and in 1994 began using a video camera.

My passion for photography remained inside my soul so when I came back to still photography it was with a commitment to professionalism. I studied photography and a photographic forum played a significant role in developing my creative ability.

My main interest is in natural landscapes , night shots and travel. I love the tranquillity and stillness of nature and it is this that I like to represent in my photos.
