Photography

In 2000 I received my first digital camera, a 4 megapixel Kodak, as a birthday present and the world of digital photography was opened to me. With that camera as my constant companion, my abilities expanded and my photographs improved dramatically.

By 2005, I was ready for the next important step in my love of photography and with the purchase of an SLR camera; I became a “Nikonian”. My interests also led me to become active in several photographic groups, “Friends of Light” and “Jeddah Photographer’s Group” where my pictures were well received. I was encouraged to post my photographs online for critique leading me to learn new techniques and methods and to a significant increase in the quality of my art.

With my 2006 membership in the Saudi Photographers` House (SPH), I began exhibiting my photographs in local events, salons and exhibitions.

Professional Associations

My interest in photography began when I purchased my first camera, an inexpensive single lens film model, in the early 90’s. My pictures were simple due to the equipment and my level of expertise but my love for photography had been ignited.

This is just the beginning. I am excited about where my skills, my imagination, and my camera will take me.

A good photograph is not made by a camera alone but by the photographer blending his imagination with an image and bringing it to life.
