I was born in February 1961. In Calella (Barcelona, Spain). It wasn't until the year 1983, on reading the instructions of the Olympus OM1 camera which my parents had bought me and trying out my first film, that I realised the potential of photography. It also taught me that the limits of showing an idea, an image, or my feelings, were all down to my knowledge - or lack of it. And so the search for the right methods started - and continue to this day.

In 1990, I joined the ranks of the “Fotofilm Calella” association, concentrated on courses to better my knowledge, and at the same time progressed through a succession of cameras.

I was introduced into digital technology in 2000 which permited me to spend more time at my passion and the computer became, instead, my chemical laboratory. Soon afterwards, I obtained my first digital camera.

That was the start of my putting on exhibitions and finally entering the National and International field of competititions.
