“The play of light and shade is a life”
Born in Covasna, Romania in 1950, he is married and has two children.
He graduated in Economics at the University of Cluj and the Academy of Economic Studies, Bucuresti.
At present he is owner and general manager of a clothing factory and president of a roadbuilding company.
He also studied facultative fine art and photography.
Photography has been his hobby since 1961. Between 1980-1990 he has had numerous acceptances and prizes in national photographic salons.
In 1986 he received his first acceptance in an international salon, but did not start competing internationally again until 2001.
Since 1993 he has taken only digital images and in 2005 he earned a two star rating in PSA-EID.
In 2005 he receved his AFIAP distinction.
He has been a member of AAFR (Asociatia Artistilor Fotografi din Romania) since 1986, and of MFVSZ (Magyar Fotomuveszek Vilagszovetsege-Hungary) since 2002. He joined PSA (Photographic Society of America) in 2003, and DVF (Deutsche Verband fur Fotografie-Germany) in 2005.
He has held more than 30 individual exhibitions in Romania and Hungary.
His own first photographic album “ Impressions” was published in 2000.
