The most important part of my hobby is Nature Photography. Starting in 1980, I went to Tanzania, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Botswana and South Africa.
I like to have lineworking in my pictures and also that the subject is a natural part of his surrounding through the color of it. I always try to have some photographic elements in my pictures and also animal behaviour.
I have been a member of PSA since 1981 and for the last couple of years also PSA Representative in the Netherlands.
I became interested in Nature-Photography in 1980 and that has always been the most important part of my hobby. A very important fact of "wildlife" photography is that animals or birds must not be harmed by taking a picture. Also the habitat must not be destroyed or damaged. If it might harm, a photo should not made of it. I made a lot of safaris in Africa from East to South and also some to the Galapagos Isles in Ecuador.
At the moment I have Photonaturalist 1 and Galaxy 4 in Nature and a lot of international judgings in Nature.
I use a Nikon F4S with lenses from 28mm to 800mm. (with converter included). In Africa my standard lens is 600 mm.
