Retired official of the Statistical Office of the European Union (Eurostat). Moved to Luxemburg in 1968 for professional reasons.

Became a member of the Photoclub Mamer in 1969 and president of that Camera club from 1984 to 2001

PSA affiliation 1984, a member of the IAC (International Affairs Committee) of PSA, Honorific Member of the Union Photographique Remoise (France), of the Center of Visual Art "BATANA" in Rovinj (Croatia), of the Fotoclub Buenos Aires (Argentina) and of the Fotoclub de Villa Alemana (Chile).

He started competition photography 1971, especially photo travel slides and monochrome prints.

After he retired 1995 he became Director of the FIAP Patronage Service.

Author of lectures about the countries he visited with his wife, mainly in Asia as well as North and South America.

Judge in almost 200 national and international salons. Personal or collective exhibitions in Luxemburg, Belgium, France, Germany, Croatia, Serbia, China, Chile and Spain.
