I started watching birds when I was eight-years-old. Then I saw many fascinating birds and I simply wanted to show them to others. My father had an old Zenit TTL camera, but I found it scary to use as all the settings had to be set manually. One day my father taught me how to use it and since then I've photographed birds.

I started to photograph birds more seriously when I bought my first digital camera in 2010. I love bird photography because it combines my two passions: photography and ornithology.

Now I sometimes photograph other animals too, but my favorite subject remains birds.

My work has been published in Amateur Photographer magazine, also in a couple of Lithuanian magazines and I have won a few awards.

I most frequently use Canon EOS 50D camera with Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM lens..
