Film
1978 first experience with the "film" medium
1987-2006 member of the "Dortmunder Film- und Video Klub e.V."

1987-1994 Took part in numerous national and international film competitions winning several awards
Have been judging film competitions since 1990
1993 first film presentation of a cartoon on television SFB (Sender Freies Berlin)
1993, Commissioned to make an industrial movie on the production of communication systems.
Altogether I have produced 82 films in different genre totalling about. 1000 minutes.

Photography:
In 1984 I made my first attempts at still photography.
Since 1988 my photographs have appeared in photo magazines, books, on television and the internet
Since 1990 I have taken part in national and international photo competitions
Since 1993 I have been experimenting with digital Photography.
In 2000 I became the Guinnesss-con-world record-holder with “the longest photo exhibition in the world" which extended for 1650,20 meters
In 2001 I joined the German Photographic Assosiation (DVF) http://dvf-fotografie.de/
and from 2002 judged various national photo competitions
For the last three years I have lectured to photographic clubs on "digital imaging", “the own photo book"
and “international competitions – DVF, FIAP and PSA”
I have been a member in "Fotokunst AG Dortmund" since 2004 - http://www.fk-do.de

Exhibitions:
From 1990 I have participated in numerous community exhibitions and publications around the globe
An individual exhibition was held in Dortmund, Germany: "BodyART – pictures under the skin" in 1997 and again in 2001 in New Jersey / USA.
In 2001 another individual exhibition "DigitalART" was held in Unna, Germany:
2005 I was invited to participate in “Award-Winning" in Datteln, Germany

Awards:
Over the years I have won many awards in national and international salons as well as numerous Medals, Honorable Mentions and Certificates of Merit.
In 2003-4 and 5 I was honoured with the ”Joachim-Dürrich-Award“ for the most successful photographer in Westfalia, Germany
In 2004 I received my Certificate of Artist by the Federation of International Photographic Art (AFIAP), the Retina-Bronze-Award of the German Association for Photography, my first PSA Gold-Medal :-) and the Silver Medal of the German Association of Photography, for international successes in the digital division
In 2005 I received the Gold-Medal of the German Association of Photography for international successes in the digital division
In 2006 I received the Retina-Silver-Award of the German Association of Photography and the IRIS-Bronze-Honour of the
Westfalia Association of Photography
In 2007 gained my EFIAP
In 2008 I get the EFIAP/b and also the MFIAP

Philosophy:
Pictures are created in the mind - either behind the camera or in front of the monitor.
Placing and atmospheres are central to my pictures.
My satisfaction lies not so much in the approval of my work as that one of the observers has seen the truth behind it.
In the end, all:truth lies in the eye of the observer!
