I am a retired Railway Engineer and living in Helsinki, Finland, Born 1939 in Tornio, Finland, married and have three lovely children
Mervi, Marcus and Magnus.

I joined a Helsinki Camera Club in 1974 and participated in International Salons actively in 1979 - 86 (pictorial monochrome prints and color slides)

and since 2000 (digital images). Themes: People and humor.

During the years 1986 - 2000 I was too busy with my work in order to participate in any exhibitions.

I have received in international salons over 5 500 acceptances and more than 800 prizes.

Besides for instance 10 prizes in Nikon Photo Competition in Japan in 1979-98, 42 prizes in photocompetitions of finnish Magazines in 1975-2000
