Wang Ying

Wang Ying is Director of the Photographic Art Department of the Education and Training Center of Beijing City University. She is Regional Director for the Photographic Society of America(PSA), and is a member of the China Photographers Association.

She is co-author of “Photographers and Commercial Photo Stocks” (Published in 2000) which is the first special book about the photographic market in China. She has published dozens of photographic papers in professional newspapers and magazines such as China Photo Press, Popular Photography and China Photography. Her papers were chosen as excellent papers in the sixth (in 2000) and seventh (in 2004) Theoretical Seminar of the China Photographers Association. She has written special books for the photographic market such as “Guide for Photographers’ Contribution”, “Photographers’ Hand Book - Photographic Strategies for Best Selling Photos”, which help Chinese photographers to enter the photographic market.

Wang Ying makes an extensive and intensive study of photographic techniques, and has written special books such as "Introduction to Digital Image Treatment", "Leisure Photography", "Journalism and Record Photography" and "Special Photography". Her photographic collections include “Chinese Lion Decoration” and “China’s Memorial Archways and Gateway Arches”.
