I have been interested in photography since the late 1970's when "National Geographic World" Magazine had you create your own pinhole camera with 110 film, and thus I started using my parents' old cameras once in a while. When in July 1987 graduating in "Physical Distribution" which is the programme of Inventory Control, Operations, Purchasing, Traffic and Warehousing from George Brown College of Applied Arts and Technology in downtown Toronto I was given a state of the art auto-focus SLR Minolta as a graduation present.

Tired of film and flat-bed scanners in July 2006 - I purchased a Pentax *DSL2 with both 18-55 mm and 50-200 mm lenses and as they are 52 MM I am able to still use some of my old filters / attachments for it, as I was able to share my Minolta equipment with a friend.

I have the ART PHOTOGRAPHY CERTIFICATE and APPLIED PHOTOGRAPHY CERTIFICATE from Mohawk College of Applied Arts and Technology in Hamilton, Ontario. I was not as fast as a RABBIT completing the programmes as I started them in Spring 1988 term and didn't finish them until December 2007 and May 2008.
